## 1.4 — Adios Lifetime

Unlimited viewing is now a $4.99 lifetime unlock instead of a yearly subscription.

- The yearly subscription is withdrawn and no longer offered anywhere in the app.
- Anyone who bought it keeps unlimited access while it's active — nobody loses what they paid for.
- “Restore Purchase” brings the unlock back on a reinstall or a second Mac.
- A quiet rating card, shown at most twice ever and only after 40 ad-free videos.
- Free tier unchanged: 30 videos a calendar month, resetting on the 1st.

- More reliable swapping when several YouTube tabs are open at once.
- Reworked the copy throughout so setup explains itself.
- A loading state during the swap instead of a bare black frame.
- The share panel the swap goes through no longer flashes on screen.
- Setup checklist in the app that ticks itself off as Safari reports each step done.

- Fixed player sizing in theater and wide layouts.
- Added a watchdog that restores YouTube's normal player if the swap fails.

- Made it impossible for the original player to keep playing underneath.
